The Search for Pie-Gluten Free Pizza Pie

So we have tried homemade. The toppings and ingredients are great but the crust has the texture and taste of a rubber Frisbee. So here are our new discoveries.

Udi's brand
Most of us know if for it's bread and bagels. They now have pizza. We tried the pepperoni two separate times. Both delicious. Not many toppings though. $6

Your Pie
Restaurant has a speciality crust for gluten free eaters. It is a create-your-own pie. The crust is very thin and quite over cooked. Kind of like you were eating a burnt tortilla chip with toppings on it. Thin cheese. They can also create a salad bowl for you with the same crust, which might be why it tastes like a tortilla bowl. $10

Against the Grain
So far the best we have tried. Thin crust, but not paper thin. You can choose to bake a soft crust or crispy crust. We choose the three cheese pizza. Loaded with cheese, not loaded with spices. We added oregano and basil along with some green olives. Truly our favorite so far. Also quite large compared to the other two that were both 10 inch pizza's. $7


Last but not least my new easy pop-in-the-microwave favorite. Fresh potato covered in cheese and pepperoni topped with Parmesan cheese. Simple, easy, gluten free.

Since the first day I started gluten-free. I have notice my food is digesting immediately. My system is also making much more noise. LOL. I am a little afraid to eat in public. Flavorful, Spicy Tacos your whole Family will Love

After years of trying to eat together as a GF family, my husband and I sometimes get it right. He decided to make tacos and looked for GF ingredients for me. He ended up finding products that we both love together. This is definitely a keeper recipe. We recommend you change the spice level for younger children. Teenagers will love this because it is like Doritos and a little edgy. Sugar Cravings, Detox and More

So my hubby was selected by his company to be a lead in a certain group which meant he would be traveling for 4 days. Perfect, I thought. I will only eat vegies or fruit, and drink coffee, tea or water. My fav foods are vegies and fruit. I know I need protein so I eat it, but if I didn't have to I wouldn't eat it everyday. I love, vegies, fruit and desert. In fact one of my fav meals is a huge vegie plate and a pint of Hagen Daaz Gelato. So...I decided to do a detox while my hubby was out of town. $72.00 for what I felt was 4 days worth of fruits and vegetables. I did the detox. Only water, coffee or tea. Only vegetables or fruits. No sauces, no sugars, no condiments except herbs and spices. Every day about 3p, I started getting a headache. I would eat a piece of fruit. That wouldn't help.
